DJs Raichous (LA), Roza (LA), and Shred One (SF) first connected headlining a collaborative DJ event in Los Angeles, CA in 2009. They instantly vibed and complemented each other’s style on the decks, igniting the spark for a future collaboration. Although residing in different cities, they set out to work together through a tireless series of practice sessions consisting of 3 mixers, 4 turntables, Raichous’ swift and funky cuts, Roza’s smooth versatility, and Shred One’s impeccable selection. They eventually created and developed a unique style incorporating classic turntablist techniques using classic and modern sounds such as soul, hip hop, boogie, disco, funk, and uptempo beats, the foundation for their new group RRS FEED.

Roza Do aka DJ Roza stepped up to the platter in 2004, filling crates and ears from LA to the Bay, and back again. Under the wings and wisdom of neighborhood vinyl collectors and scratch masters since 2001, her musical repertoire evolved as she went from bedroom bass to backyard boogies to block parties to booming clubs. Constantly cultivating and seeking inspiration to refine her craft, she is grateful to be able share the decks with pioneers such as Triple Threat and the Beat Junkies, and opening up for progressive artists including De La Soul and The Rebirth. Currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health with music to hold her ground, you can catch her spinning the feel good remedy of soulhopdiscofunk every third Wednesday at Devil’s Pie @ Verdugo Bar LA as well as backing up female emcee Rocky Rivera at shows throughout the country.
